Tim and Noelle held a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception overlooking the Dam at Black Brewing Co./Caves Road Collective. It was evident that Tim and Noelle are both type of people who light up the room, warming the hearts of anyone around them – hence they had trouble narrowing their guest list down to 150 guests (not to mention their 6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen to make a bridal party of 14!). Noelle rocked a gorgeous Collezione Bridal gown and Cherise de la Terre created the most beautiful bouquet and floral arrangements at the ceremony and the reception. Their wedding day was not just about declaring their love for each other, it was also the perfect opportunity to announce to their friends and family that they’re expecting a new addition to their family! This was the most beautiful part of the wedding and had most people (including me!) filled with joy and tears.
How did you find me? Why did you pick me to capture your wedding day?
MRGB – We love your style, but most importantly, you managed to make us emotional when watching the videos and looking at photos (and it’s not even our wedding!)
Tell me about yourselves … How did you meet? What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What’s important in life?
We met at law school, were friends for a few years first and overtime, she fell for my quick wit and charm (and obviously my sense of humour). Noelle works with at risk youths in the youth detention system and I work for Treasury (however am chasing that entrepreneur dream, one idea at a time). Enjoy socializing and love coming down south for the weekend (Margs is our favourite). We have a puppy (6 month old cocker spaniel) called Maple who rules our lives and our hearts, and try to spend as much time together as possible outside of work.
The proposal? …Tell me a little bit about it…
I surprised Nol with a romantic candle lit pavilion in Kings Park (the place of remembrance – quite aptly named), where the record player was playing Elvis’ ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ – well not actually at the start, but that’s a good story for later. I’d planned it with her best friend, Ash, for quite a few months and was so stoked to finally be able to put all that planning into action. After the proposal her mum ran down the path with ‘engaged’ balloons and we FaceTimed / called our families to let them know of the amazing news – their reactions were priceless! After this we met 14 of our closest friends for a surprise dinner at Bread in Common (they didn’t know – although most of them guessed – that we were engaged at this stage). We then had a whirlwind weekend at Crown celebrating the engagement and our anniversary!
