Tell me about the location of the wedding – why did you choose it and what does it mean to you?

Pullman Resort Bunker Bay We chose this venue because we liked the feel of the venue, it feels relaxed and resort-like. We love that there is accomodation on site for our guests if they choose. We love the contrast of the colour of the ocean with the outdoor area which will be the backdrop for our reception. We love that it is located in a National Park with native flora and fauna. We love that it is located right on the beach as we are very much beach people! We think it is the best location for ourself and our guest to have a luxurious and relaxed weekend.

How did you find me? Why did you pick me to capture your wedding day?

We found you by google search. I watched viewed some of your previous client wedding photos and videos and thought that the content was captured so naturally and really showed the happiness of the day.

Tell me about yourselves?

We met early in the morning at Capitol Night Club in Perth (hahaha!). Josh asked to take me out to lunch the next day and we have been inseparable ever since. Turns out we always lived less than 3 minutes away from each other our whole entire lives and had just never met! I am a high school mathematics teacher and Josh works for the Navy as a Maritime Warfare Officer. We spend our time mostly at the beach, exercising our crazy kelpie Marley, at the pub with friends, going on bush walks, spending time with family and we really enjoy camping in remote locations.

The proposal? …Tell me a little bit about it…

Josh organised an airbnb down south in Eagle Bay for the weekend. We left straight after work on a Friday to drive down. The next morning we went into town, had a nice breakfast and did a bit of shopping. The weather was stunning that day, perfect temperature and not a cloud in sight (unusual for us because we are renowned for taking the bad weather with us wherever we go). Josh then suggested we go to the aquarium in Yallingup, we walked down and set up along the shore there, went for a swim and had some drinks. It was a very relaxing afternoon. When most of the people left for the day, Josh got down on one knee and popped the question.
