Amy and Sean’s love story began when they met through a mutual friend, who happened to be one of the groomsmen. They are a fun-loving couple who enjoy camping, spending time with loved ones, and watching their daughter grow up. Their days are filled with a mix of work, family time, and creating cherished memories together.

The proposal was a delightful surprise for Amy (and very Australian). Sean cunningly asked her to join him for a game of footy, and despite her initial reluctance, she eventually agreed. As they played, Sean intentionally kicked the footy far away, causing Amy to feel frustrated. However, as she walked back toward him, he took her aback by getting down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage. The timing was unexpected, making it all the more special and memorable for Amy.

Amy and Sean’s love story is one born out of genuine connection, shared experiences, and a deep desire to create a beautiful life together. Their journey has been filled with surprises and happy moments, all leading up to the joyous occasion of their wedding day.

The South Perth Yacht Club holds a special place in the couple’s hearts, as they have fond memories of attending Christmas parties at this venue overlooking the Swan River and Perth City. Its casual and relaxed vibe perfectly aligns with their vision for a party-like wedding celebration. The familiarity and personal connection with the location made it an easy choice for Amy and Sean.

For their wedding, they wanted one big party, and to make it even more special, the mother of the groom, Valerie, officiated their marriage ceremony together with celebrant Amanda Oliver. It was an intimate and heartfelt union, further adding a personal touch to their already extraordinary day.

Amy & Sean had the privilege of getting ready at Crown Towers in Perth. Nestled in a prime location, the hotel provided stunning views overlooking the river and the cityscape. Surrounded by luxurious accommodations, they began their day with a breathtaking backdrop, setting the tone for a day filled with elegance and beauty.

They collaborated with an incredible team of vendors to bring their vision to life. Erin Elizabeth Make up Artistry enhanced Amy’s natural beauty and hair styling was handled by Tenjune Hair, while Fielding Flowers & Decor created the stunning everlasting bouquet. Claire Sutherland of SUKAR provided an exquisite cake, and Higgins GT Falcons ensured their vintage car transport was stylish and memorable. The catering was provided by the South of Perth Yacht Club & Photography was beautifully handled by Keiki Black Collective, capturing every precious moment.

As for their decision to choose me as their wedding videographer, it was Amy’s sister-in-law who introduced them to my work from their beautiful wedding in Pemberton. They found my warm and friendly personality to be a key factor in their decision. They wanted someone who not only had the technical expertise but also understood how to create a comfortable and enjoyable filming experience.

Eden the DJ Guy brought Amy & Sean’s big party vision to life by keeping the dance floor alive from early on and into the night.
