Theresa & Reece held the most beautiful intimate wedding with their closest family and friends, with the Ceremony and Reception both at Alverstoke Barn in Brunswick. Theresa wore a unique 2 piece gown from One day bridal and rocked a Victoria Novak crown. Their vows were probably some of the most genuine and heartwarming I’ve heard (it was hard to not to cry during hearing them at the weddinh ceremony!).

Tell me about yourselves … How did you meet? What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What’s important in life?

Reece grew up in Bunbury. I grew up further south in a small town called Pemberton. After moving up to the ‘big smoke’ for a more convenient lifestyle, it wasn’t long after settling in to Bunbury life that I met Reece out one night. It was in the unlikeliest of places (yes it was in da club) that we caught the first glimpse of each other and realised that those fireworks people talk about might actually be a thing. We exchanged numbers and within a week were inseparable.

Reece is a heavy diesel mechanic who’s work requires him to spend weeks away. It’s undoubtedly been a challenging experience however comes bittersweet, as it’s built a relationship based on a strong foundation of trust and communication. When he’s home, our shared love of the outdoors and adventure often takes us on spontaneous road trips, local wine hauls and camping out to some of WA’s most beautiful coastlines.

The proposal? …Tell me a little bit about it…

He totally caught me off guard! One chilly Wednesday night when we were just hanging out in our living room, he was siting next to me visibly anxious. He suddenly disappeared and called my into our living room where he was on one knee waiting with the most beautiful ring! Our dogs were sitting watching excitedly probably wondering what all the fuss was about. A little birdie tells me that it wasn’t the original proposal planned, but after multiple attempts to coordinate the perfect scenario, an anxious Recce unable to wait any longer decided a Wednesday night would have to do. It was perfectly imperfect.
